AUSTIN, Texas -- Paramedics responded to a possible drowning in the Colorado River just before 5 p.m. Sunday near Highway 183.

It happened in an area known as Secret Beach at 800 Grove Blvd.

A teenage male fell in the water, and bystanders heard him screaming and called 9-1-1.

They say bystanders pulled the teenager from the water and someone started CPR before the paramedics arrived.

They were able to revive him and he went to Dell Children's Medical Center in serious, but not life-threatening condition.
