TYLER, Texas -- An East Texas man who has been blind for more than half his life is taking on a project that would be difficult for just about anyone.
Thomas Graham is building a home in Tyler, pretty much by himself without any blueprints.
He said his neighbors ask him all the time if he really is blind.
"Oh, they do. And then I tell them, 'Well, let me drive your car then,'" Graham said. "And then they usually back off."
Thomas said he's had some friends help him with the roof and the wiring, but the rest has been all him.
He said he hopes it inspires people to try something challenging.
