SAN ANTONIO -- A driver is dead after rolling his dump truck in far Northwest Bexar County Saturday morning.

Witnesses told authorities the driver was traveling southeast on Bandera Road when his truck began to fishtail.

A spokeswoman for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office said the driver lost control and rolled the dump truck several times.

Authorities said the truck landed on top of the driver after he was partially ejected. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was reportedly not carrying a load and had no passengers with him.

The investigation is on-going, but speed, weather and road conditions were all factors in the crash, according to BCSO.

No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

The accident happened just past Highway 211 around 10 a.m.

Deputies at the scene said drivers should slow down due to slick roads around the county.
