LUBBOCK -- There's still no sign of a Texas toddler who disappeared on January 3.

Police in the West Texas town of Crosbyton issued a statewide Amber Alert Tuesday for the missing two-year-old girl.

Leah Marie Aguirre was last seen in the company of a man identified only as "Miguel," according to KAMC-TV.

"Miguel," who claimed to be a case worker from Child Protective Serivces, took the child from her home in the town 35 miles east of Lubbock.

CPS spokesman Paul Zimmerman confirmed to KAMC that "Miguel" was not employed by the agency.

The man, driving a red Ford Focus, left with the girl.

"Miguel" was said to have brown hair and brown eyes, but no additional information was provided.

Leah has brown hair and brown eyes. She's about 2'-5" tall and weighs 30 pounds. Police did not say what clothing she was wearing when abducted.

If you have any information about Leah or the kidnapper, call 911 or Crosbyton police at 806-368-1926 or the FBI's Dallas-area field office at 972-559-5000.
