DALLAS -- Dallas firefighters battled a three-alarm fire inside an abandoned warehouse early Wednesday.

The fire began just before 7:15 a.m., a Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman said.  When it was in operation, the plant was used for manufacturing purposes, the spokesman said.

Dallas police shut down the intersection of Glenfield Avenue & South Westmoreland Road to make room for the fire trucks responding to the scene.
