DALLAS — Three people were hospitalized early Sunday morning after being wounded during an altercation outside a Northwest Dallas nightclub.
Police said the victims — two men and a woman — were standing in the parking lot of the club at 10333 West Technology Boulevard when two men opened fire with handguns shortly after 2 a.m.
The gunshot victims were taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital for treatment. They were identified as 29-year-old Natasha Rucke, 20-year-old Steve Davis and 21-year-old Demarcus Wallas; all had been wounded in the legs.
Police said the department's gang unit was investigating the circumstances of the shootings.
One day earlier, eight people were wounded by gunfire in a separate incident at a nightclub in Northeast Dallas which police attributed to gang violence.
