The long-awaited Chisholm Trail Parkway is set to open at 8 a.m., although it could take several hours to get full access.
The CTP offers motorists a faster commute between Johnson and Tarrant counties along a 27-mile stretch from Cleburne to downtown Fort Worth.
The pavement was opened to cyclists and runners on Saturday, but only motor vehicles will be permitted on the toll road starting Sunday, so don't try to ride a bike or walk the route.
Speed limits on the $1.4 billion toll road range from 50 mph in Fort Worth to 70 in Cleburne.
Drivers with a TollTag will pay $9.82 for a round-trip along the full length of the Chisholm Trail Parkway; the price without a TollTag is $14.74 for the same round trip.
