AUSTIN, Texas — An argument between a man and a female University of Texas student ended with a stabbing and an arrest Wednesday evening.
UT police responded to the call at the Engineering and Science building shortly before 6 p.m.
When police arrived, they said they found the woman bleeding from an apparent stab wound.
Police detained Chenxi Deng after learning the woman had been stabbed with a fork.
The victim was taken to St. David’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The relationship between Deng and the student was unclear, and police did not say whether charges would be filed.
