ROWLETT, Texas (AP) - Police in suburban Dallas say a man and a woman who died in a murder-suicide each had a single gunshot wound to the head.

The bodies were found at a Rowlett home Sunday. The Dallas County medical examiner identifies them as 29-year-old Amanda Todhunter and 34-year-old Brandon McClain. Police await an autopsy report.

The Dallas Morning News (http://bit.ly/1kG2k6j ) reports police were called to the house in February for a family violence call and last month for a welfare check. Police say the woman moved out two weeks ago.

The home is about a block from the house where two boys were fatally stabbed in 1996. Darlie Routier was sentenced to death in the slaying of her 5-year-old. She was charged with killing her 6-year-old but wasn't tried in his death.
