SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Fire Department dispatched crews to the scene of a plane crash in a north-side homeowner's backyard Monday morning.
The small, single-engine plane with ID No. N84NS touched down in the 13000 block of Possum Way at around 10:20 a.m. taking out a fence and a backyard shed, a neighbor said.
The damaged property is on the north side off Heimer Road near the Twin Oaks Air Park.
The neighbor said there was one male occupant of the aircraft, and he was not injured.
