DALLAS — Sunday's rain didn't stop veterans from striping the streets of downtown Dallas as part of Operation Freedom Road.

Veterans started laying down red, white and blue tape to mark the route for Monday's Veteran's Day Parade. They originally planned to use paint, but decided against it as the rain moved in.

The group hopes this becomes an annual tradition.

The Dallas parade kicks off at noon at the corner of Houston and Young streets, right next to Union Station.

It will go north on Houston Street to Dealey Plaza, turn right on Main Street, continue to Ervay Street, then turn right again onto Young Street before ending at City Hall Plaza.

If you're in downtown Dallas on Monday, you may need to make some detours during the parade.
