SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Students in the Southwest Independent School District have been given an incentive to come to school every day.

North Park Toyota of San Antonio is giving away two new Toyota IQ cars to a high school senior in the Southwest ISD.

The company has been doing the giveaway for the past two years. They hope it will get students excited about going to school.

This year, the giveaway has an added dimension: Not only will a student get a free car, but so will a lucky teacher.

"After the third year that we ought to recognize the people that really create the end result, and that's the teachers," said North Park Toyota general manager, Merle Gothard, at a Thursday morning convocation held in the Southwest High School Fine Arts Auditorium.

The cars will be awarded in May 2013 at the Southwest ISD convocation.
