FORT WORTH - Police say a teen who was found shot in the head near the back door of a home in Fort Worth was in the midst of a robbery with two male accomplices, both 21 years of age.

A man returned to his home at a duplex to find Claudia Hidic, 17, shot in the head near the back door on June 28. The man told police he did not know the teen and it was a mystery as to how she ended up killed at his home on Overton Park West.

Police now say she was a suspect in a robbery at the house, and she went there with two other suspects, Curtis Fortenberry and Terrance Crumley. During the alleged robbery, shots were fired and Hidic was fatally struck in the head.

Crumley turned himself into police and Fortenberry was already in police custody on unrelated charges.
