The largest wind farm in the world is in West Texas, but wind energy could be in trouble if tax credits end this year.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the industry says wind production tax credits have helped developers win vital private financing for wind projects. But If the tax credits end this year, it could have an impact on electricity prices — and 37,000 U.S. jobs wll be at risk.

Experts predict an exodus from the wind energy industry if the bill isn't passed soon.
