HOUSTON -- So it’s the middle of the day, and you’re stuck behind a desk. Take a moment to relax and enjoy watching the chimps play at the Houston Zoo!

HoustonZoo.org has four Animal Webcams you can choose from, each with two angles: giraffes, rhinos, chimpanzees, and elephants.

The cameras stream high quality, live video from the enclosures, and you’ll often catch the animals doing funny or interesting things. That’s part of what makes it so addictive, because you never know when something cool may happen.

The Houston Zoo says you can tune in to the giraffe feedings at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. everyday.

The Houston Zoo says the cameras have been online for a while, but they just redesigned their website. So, if you’ve never visited HoustonZoo.org, now’s a good time to check it out. Just don't blame me when you realize you've wasted your work day!

Note: if you’re on an iPhone or iPad, you won’t be able to see the cams. Try checking them out on your desktop.
