HOUSTON – Can you believe we’re already talking Black Friday? Best Buy and Walmart are among the retailers who have “leaked” their Black Friday plans on the web.

Here are a few smartphone apps you can use to track Black Friday deals (and deals in general):

TGI Black Friday: websiteapp
Available free for Android and iPhone, it collects all store ads and posts them online before they are even in the newspaper. It’ll even let you set up a shopping list, and it’ll send you push alerts.

Shop Kick
This is also free for Android and iPhone. Install the app and collect points called “Kicks” just by browsing the app or physically going into stores. It’ll then put your deals on a map, and tell you what discounts are available near you. The more points, the better!

Extra! Extra!: iOS/iPhoneAndroid
This is a newcomer you can keep handy even after the holiday season. Its makers say it will only show you deals that have been voted up by other users. It has everything from hobby stores to sandwich shops.

A word of warning for online discount shoppers: try to stick with the sites you know and trust.  If you’ve never heard of the website you’re about to buy from, search for its name on Google to find customer reviews.
