Limo-fleeing robbery suspect caught
08:34 AM CDT on Tuesday, October 28, 2008
DALLAS -- A suspect in a Dallas-area bank robbery who allegedly used a limousine to flee in style has been caught in Tulsa, Okla.
Police who had set up surveillance believe the man was dropped off in Tulsa by one limo and had arranged for another limo service to pick him up.
Cory Eugene Gill was held without bond Tuesday in the David L. Moss Correctional Center.
Correctional officer David Heatherington told The Associated Press there was no information listed on whether Gill has an attorney.
Police say Gill was arrested late Friday in Tulsa, hours after a suspect robbed an Irving, Texas, bank and hopped into a black limo, which sped away.
Gill, who turned 40 Monday, was jailed on charges from Dallas County and Seattle. Details on the robbery warrant out of Washington state were not immediately available.
