Arlington resident fatally shoots one of two masked intruders

An Arlington resident fatally shot a masked intruder inside a home, and police were searching for a second masked man.
Arlington police said the shooting took place at about 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of Carthage Way. Officers arrived to find a black man wearing a ski mask dead at the home.
A second person also wearing a ski mask fled the scene, police said. That person was more than 6 feet tall and wearing blue jeans, purple gloves and a white sweater with crowns.
Arlington police expected to release more details later this morning.
