03:08 PM CDT on Monday, October 13, 2008

Associated Press

BROWNSBORO, Texas -- A fiery wreck today in East Texas killed two teenage brothers who apparently were headed for school.

The Department of Public Safety says the siblings died in the accident about one mile south of Brownsboro.

Names of the boys—who were 15 and 16 -- weren’t immediately released.

DPS Trooper Joshua Jenkins says the truck went out of control while northbound on FM 314 and wrecked onto an embankment.

Investigators believe the boys were driving to school when the accident happened. The cause is under investigation.

Brownsboro is a town of about 900, located 80 miles southeast of Dallas.
