Hearse that carried JFK's body fails to sell at classic car auction
04:52 PM CDT on Sunday, May 6, 2007
Looks like potential takers for one morbid piece of memorabilia didn’t have deep enough pockets after all.
The hearse that carried the body of President John F. Kennedy failed to sell at a classic car auction in Seabrook yesterday.
Apparently the highest bid of around $900,000 wasn’t enough for the owner of the historic vehicle.
The hearse’s owner reportedly wants at least a million dollars for it.
