Photos: NBA All-Star Jam Session begins

The NBA kicked off the All-Star Weekend festivities Thursday afternoon with the 2013 NBA All-Star Jam Session opening ceremony at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Thursday's event also included the NBA Fit All-Star Youth Celebration with more than 500 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Houston and the Houston Parks and Recreation Department. Several current and former NBA and WNBA players led the session with the kids.
