High water line measurements and the dates on a post in front of the Catlettsburg Ky. floodwall mural depicting scenes from the 1937 Ohio River flood Friday Jan. 27, 2012, the 75th anniversary date of one of the most devasting floods in the Tri-State. In Catlettsburg, about 80 percent of the town was covered in water, including the railroad track. There was about 21 feet of in the town and 4000 people left homeless.
