Photos: Crash splits car in two, kills driver

Police said a high school senior was driving too fast when his car left a northwest Houston roadway and slammed into a tree. The violent crash killed the 18-year-old and broke his car into two pieces. According to the Houston Police Department, the crash happened on W 43rd Street at De Milo Drive around 2 a.m. Thursday.
