The City of Houston showed its support for our armed forces Thursday, November 11, during the 12th Annual Houston Salutes American Heroes Veterans Day Commemoration and Parade. Thousands of Houstonians lined the streets and showed appreciation for the veterans in the parade, which ran down Smith Street between Texas and Lamar. The celebration featured hundreds of veterans from various eras, along with authentic old-time military weapons and vehicles.
