The speculation game for Donald Trump's Cabinet is heating up — and now Rudy Giuliani is getting attention.
The former New York City mayor, who has been discussed for attorney general and defense secretary, is now being talked up for secretary of State, according to reports by the Associated Press and the Wall Street Journal.
Trump spokesman Jason Miller neither confirmed nor denied the reports about Giuliani.
"You can’t believe everything you read. I don’t want to play the speculation game as far as names. There’s a thorough, detailed process that the Vice President-elect and the transition team are going through and the President-elect will make the decision and let us know.”
Also reportedly in the mix: John Bolton, the former UN ambassador, and Bob Corker, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The decision could be weeks away and other candidates could surface, the Journal reported, citing unnamed sources.
