TEXAS -- Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott received backlash after responding to an offensive message on Twitter.
Abbott stated that his campaign will use all social media platforms in the upcoming governor’s race.
“We’re going to be covering every platform in advancing this campaign,” Abbott said.
One of Abbott’s supporters published an offensive tweet about Senator Wendy Davis, and Abbott responded thanking the man for his support.
“My first tweet that I sent out – I did not read the offensive language,” Abbott said.
After the criticism, he sent another tweet saying he does not endorses “offensive language.”
