SUGAR LAND, Texas -- The City of Sugar Land is trying to figure out what to do with its red light cameras. Now the issue is in the hands of a task force.
The city council has appointed 11 people to decide if the cameras should stay or go.
The task force will meet for about four months before coming up with a recommendation.
This comes after an anti-camera group collected thousands of signatures for a petition against the cameras, but the city said the paperwork was not submitted correctly.
