HOUSTON -- Arson investigators spent Thursday morning trying to determine what caused four vehicles to catch fire outside an apartment complex in northwest Houston.

All of the damaged vehicles were under a carport in the 2000 block of Johanna Drive near Amelia Road.

According to the Houston Fire Department, firefighters were called to the blaze around 4:15 a.m. Three SUVs and a pickup truck were fully engulfed in flames along with part of the carport.

It was quickly put out.

There was no early indication as to what may have sparked the fire.
