BAYTOWN, Texas -- An 8-year-old boy is in the hospital with head injuries after being hit by a truck in Baytown.
Police said he was running across the street at W. Humble and Laredo when he was hit around 5 p.m. Friday.
The driver stopped.
The boy was airlifted to the hospital.
Police are still investigating, but for now the driver is not expected to be charged.
