TOMBALL, Texas – Three men were caught after police said they stole jewelry from a woman after pretending to be utility workers.
According to the Tomball Police Department, George Peres, 33; Sebastian Peres, 28; and Tony Peres, 46, took $70,000 worth of jewels from the woman.
Officers said one of the men took the woman into her backyard to talk about her utilities, while the others ransacked her house.
As they ransacked the home, alert neighbors saw the men go into the home and called police.
Officers got there and arrested the men, and all of the jewelry was recovered.
