TEXAS CITY — No one was injured and Texas City police did not find any explosives or contraband when they responded to a bomb threat at the Cinemark movie theater in Texas City.
Employees working the ticket booth at the Movies 12 theater, located at 10000 Emmett F Lowry Expressway at the Mall of the Mainland, received multiple calls about a bomb threat with a specific time limit, Texas City police Capt. Brian Goetschius said.
The theater employees called police just before midnight on Saturday, Goetschius said. The movie theater was cleared, no one was injured and no device or contraband was found, he said.
