TEXAS CITY — Police arrested two robbery suspects early Tuesday morning and sought a third after the trio was accused of using a gun to take a safe from an acquaintance’s residence.
Jose Jorge Torres, 27, and Lance Patrick Hardy, 25, remained jailed Tuesday on charges of aggravated robbery, stemming from a 12:07 a.m. incident in the 100 block of Fifth Avenue, Texas City police Chief Robert Burby said.
Bond for Torres was set at $80,000, while bond for Hardy was set at $40,000. No injuries were reported.
Police responded to a call of a burglary in progress, and once officers arrived they learned a robbery occurred, Burby said.
