CONROE, Texas -- A teenage girl was killed and three others were injured when she rolled her pickup on Interstate 45 in Conroe late Sunday, police said.
Officers with the Conroe Police Department responded to the crash near Gladstell Street shortly before midnight.
Police said the 17-year-old was driving a Ford F-150 when she hit the guardrail, causing the vehicle to flip. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Two male teens and a female were sent to the hospital in stable condition.
Police said most of the victims were from Magnolia. They were in Conroe at a nearby nightclub that is open to teens on Sunday nights.
Alcohol was not a factor in the incident, police said.
I-45 southbound was closed for more than three hours following the crash.
As of early Monday one of the injured teens had already been released from the hospital.
