GALVESTON — To most residents, Galveston is a good place to live. That’s the conclusion at least of a survey commissioned to gather opinions on the state of the city.
According to results of the National Citizens Survey, 72 percent of people asked about their quality of life in Galveston said the city is a “good” or “excellent” place to live. A larger number of people, 78 percent, said they were likely to stay in Galveston for the next five years.
The numbers are based on the answers from 260 completed paper surveys returned to the city in April.
