SUGAR LAND, Texas – Foodies and chocolate lovers are going gaga over a local woman’s sweet success.
Annie Rupani, 24, originally planned to study law.
“I started studying for the LSATs and I ordered 30 pounds of chocolate and once a week, I would play with chocolate and read these books,” Rupani said.
She also was Ms. Pakistan World 2010. She had never competed in a pageant before but beat out women from all over the world to take the crown.
She returned to the United States to start Cacao & Cardamom, a luxury internet and corporate catering chocolate shop. Her culinary creations with their interesting flavor are inspired by her culture and travels – all placed in pretty little mouthwatering packages.
“I never expected people to enjoy the chocolates so much,” Rupani said.
