HOUSTON – Police are searching for a man captured on camera robbing a Game Stop in Sugar Land.

The man robbed the store just as workers were getting ready to close, at the location on Highway 6.

The video shows the robber forcing clerks into the store’s storage area with their hands raised in the air.  The armed man wore a striped hoodie and a mask.

The video shows him stealing games, players and investigators said he took cash as well.

“It’s just like shocking that someone could do that to another person,” said Charlie Mercado, a customer. “Normally it doesn’t happen around Sugar Land, because Sugar Land is a safe area.”

Sugar Land police said several Game Stops have been robbed in the both the Fort Bend and Harris County areas during the past couple of years.

Anyone who recognizes the robber is asked to call Sugar Land police.
