SUGAR LAND, Texas—St. Luke’s Sugar Land Hospital was evacuated for a short while after a fire broke out in the building Tuesday afternoon.

The fire broke out in the professional building of the hospital, located in the 1300 block of Lake Pointe Parkway, around lunch time. Firefighters from the Sugar Land Fire Department evacuated the building until all was cleared. They determined the fire was electrical in nature.

The professional building was adjacent to the hospital, so no patients were in danger. No one was injured.
