SPLENDORA, Texas – Close to a dozen volunteer firefighters in Splendora spent the night helping a mother who’s trying to regain custody of her children.
The kids were found living in a school bus on the family’s property.
They were placed in CPS custody, but hope to be reunited with their mother soon.
Thursday, firefighters helped the mom clean up the land to give the kids a safe place to come home to.
