HOUSTON – More than 3,000 Houston-area children and adults with special needs had the chance to watch Wings Over Houston firsthand on Friday during an invitation-only show.
The special show featured several of the same flying acts, military vehicles and aircraft from the weekend show, including “Tora! Tora! Tora!,” a recreation of the bombing at Pearly Harbor during World War II.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association, Forgotten Angels, Houston ISD and Pasadena ISD were among 75 local organizations that participated.
The Wings Over Houston airshow takes place Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ticket prices are $25 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and under.
