LEAGUE CITY — Police are still on the hunt for whoever broke into a Galveston police officer’s truck a few weeks ago and made off with the officer’s department-issued M-16 and Glock service pistol.

“We are still looking for information and following up on potential suspects,” League City police Sgt. David Hausam said. “We are still looking for usable prints for classification, and if they pan out we can narrow down our list or at least eliminate some (suspects).”

Someone broke into the Galveston officer’s truck at his home in the Victory Lakes subdivision between 10 p.m. April 29 and about 6:20 a.m. April 30, according to League City police reports.
