HOUSTON – Some residents in West Harris County were evacuated from their homes Tuesday due to a gas leak, CenterPoint Energy confirmed.
CenterPoint Energy said 2-inch gas line was is leaking at the intersection of Bugle Run & Park Row in the Parkway West subdivision.
A number of homes near the intersection were told to evacuate.
Harris County Precinct 5 deputies and the Westlake Fire Department were on the scene of the leak as a CenterPoint crew worked to fix the problem.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause of the leak is unknown at this time.
