FORT BEND COUNTY -- Officials say the missing Fort Bend County woman who had not been heard from since last month has been found alive.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said in September, Maria Paula Atrian, 45, left her home in Fort Bend County to take a job as a maid in Baton Rouge, La.
Family members told authorities that in mid-December, Atrian called her daughter and was crying on the phone. She did not say why she was upset, but said she would be purchasing a bus ticket to return home in Houston. Atrian has not been seen or heard from since.
On Thursday, the sheriff’s office was told by authorities in Baton Rouge, La. that Atrian had been found safe.
Officials said no foul play was involved in the incident.
