HOUSTON – A senior citizen who disappeared early Tuesday morning was found safe Wednesday afternoon in Central Texas.
Kenneth Panton, 81, lives in the 1500 block of Winston Homestead in the Pecan Grove subdivision, located in the Richmond area. Panton, who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease, was last seen by his wife at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. She noticed he was missing at about 3:30 a.m. and contacted the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
Panton was found safe in Liberty Hill, which is northwest of Georgetown in Williamson County. Panton was in a store and was disoriented, deputies said. Police officers ran his license plates and found the Silver Alert.
He was being examined by local personnel and appeared to be OK.
