DEER PARK -- Police are keeping a close eye on a 20-year-old man who made a threat against Deer Park Junior High School.

Officials said the threat was written in a post on a gaming website.

The gaming company contacted authorities who then went to the man's house and seized his computer.

Police did not arrest the man, but they told him they'd be watching him closely.

"If you're stupid enough to go online and post things about going and shooting up a school, you should expect to get a lot of negative attention. He has, and I'm sure will continue to receive negative attention until we feel like this has been resolved,” said Deer Park Police Chief Gregory Grigg.

Deer Park Junior High said more security has been added and guards have been given a description of the man's truck.
