LEAGUE CITY, Texas -- League City police tracked down a man Monday who allegedly stole a batch of frozen lobster from a Walmart earlier this month.

Police said Michael D. Moore walked into the Walmart at 1701 W. FM 646 and hopped into an electric scooter on July 6.
He drove to the frozen food aisle, loaded his cart with $170.82 worth of lobster, then drove right out of the store without paying, according to police.
Police said Moore drove the scooter to the parking lot, loaded the stolen food into a blue Ford Crown Victoria and drove off.
A witness wrote Moore’s license plate number down and turned it over to police.
Moore was also positively identified in a photo lineup.
Moore was charged with theft of propery, a Class B misdemeanor, and booked into the Galveston County Jail.
