HOUSTON -- It’s not unusual to see horse in Houston; but, what is unusual is seeing the gallop down North Shepherd Drive.
A driver used her car to corral loose horses to the median in the 7400 block of N. Shepherd in northwest Houston Tuesday night.
“No, I’m not a hero,” said driver Carla Brooks. “I have horses and I didn’t want them to get hit.
When police arrived, they took control of the horses and soon began looking for their owners.
