HOUSTON—Members of the Lighthouse Church launched their “One nation, One prayer” event on Sunday.  It called for people around the world to join in prayer for family members of Flight 370.

People are urged to remember that what happened to the Malaysian plane could happen to anyone.

“To calm the fears of a nation, at least the people I have influence over, I just wanted to come together, bring our church together, because we as Christians believe that faith and prayer are the answer to all of life’s struggles, said Pastor Keion Henderson.

The church also lit 239 candles to represent each person on the missing jet.
