KEMAH, Texas -- Houston area home sales are soaring and luxury homes are no exception.
“It’s very hot here,” said Faye Williams of UTR-Texas Realtors.
To prove it, she recently gave 11 News a look inside a $3.3 million waterfront home in Kemah. Such high-end listings are becoming more common.
But few are as unusual as this 6500 square foot Mediterranean gem that just came on the market.
“He’s done everything to capture old world charm,” Williams says of its owner.
The 4 bedroom property features several stunning details such as a wood-paneled study that resembles the interior of a ship. There are his and hers garages. The bathrooms look like art galleries.
“I think it would fit any lifestyle,” Williams says. “It’s a house that’s built for any age group.”
She is hopeful her next big sale could be just around the corner.
