LEAGUE CITY, Texas — A volunteer firefighter followed a purse-snatching suspect, helping police detain the man Monday in Houston, authorities said.
Bond for Frankie Marquise Smith, 30, was set at $40,000 on a robbery charge, League City police Sgt. John Jordan said.
A woman suffered minor injuries when she was robbed of her purse at 3:11 p.m. in the parking lot of CVS, 2700 W. Main St., Jordan said.
