BAY AREA HOUSTON, Texas—September 29-30 will be a great weekend to spend in Bay Area Houston, as our seaside town of Kemah hosts the annual Kemah Art Walk.
Four of Houston’s top chalk artists will be performing their street art live, and the event will also host Anat Ronen, the artist that painted the murals at NASA Parkway and I-45.
The Art Walk is a free event, designed to provide an opportunity for our local area artists to exhibit their art and promote education of the arts. Over 25 artists of mixed media are signed up to participate, including students of the art program at San Jacinto Community College.
The Art Walk will take place from 12 PM to 8 PM on Saturday, September 29th, and from 12 PM to 5 PM on Sunday, September 30th on the 6th Street Marina parking lot. Just around the corner, the Kemah Boardwalk will be hosting their 15th Annual Jazz Festival, providing the perfect backdrop for a weekend of art, music, and fun!
